The Robins drew first blood in the 12th minute of the match and went ahead via Jamie Paterson. Kenny McLean got the equalising goal in the 36th minute for the Canaries, but Callum O’Dowda got the Robins back in the lead in the 37th minute.

Had a forgettable first half. Came back well in the second and made a number of crucial saves to keep the opposition strikers at bay.
Max Aarons: 6
Made some good runs up the pitch with the ball and delivered a telling cross to assist McLean for his first goal. Lacked composure while defending though.

Not the best first half of his career as the Bristol attackers went past him twice to get the ball in the net. Held the fort well in the second half though.

Dished out a decent display to keep the attackers away from the goal on most occasions. Scored a brilliant goal to win the match for his side in the second half.

Had a decent spell while defending the opposition attacks. Went in the attack as well whenever he got the opportunity.

Another calm and composed display from the holding midfielder as he excelled in his role to keep the lion’s share of the ball possession. Went into the tackles with absolute precision.

Star of the show for the Canaries. Went up and down the pitch with agility and kept pressing for the goal whenever the opportunity was there. Got two crucial goals for his side to get them over the line.

Did not look at his best as he looked a bit fatigued throughout the match.

Looked to put pressure on the opposition defenders with his physicality. Was not able to get the ball into the box though.

Kept breathing on the shoulder of the defenders and engaged them in one-to-one duels to open up spaces for McLean to take his chances. Provided the perfect pass for McLean to notch up his second goal of the match.
