4-3-3 Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Manchester City
Defence
Kepa Arrizabalaga will start in goal for the away side after he managed to keep a clean sheet against Huddersfield Town last weekend. The Spanish goalie might be in for a busy afternoon as he attempts to stop the talented front players of Man City from scoring on Sunday.
Sarri might choose to go with the defensive pairing of David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger as they have developed a good understanding in central defence. The duo would be in for a hard day’s work while up against the likes of Sergio Aguero, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling.
Cesar Azpilicueta is expected to get the nod to start at right-back. Marcos Alonso will fill in on the other side as the left-back. Both full-backs would have their hands full as they will go head to head with two of the most productive wingers in the Premier League in Sane and Sterling.
Midfield
The promising trio of Ross Barkley, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante might keep their place at the centre of the park after an impressive display against the Terriers last weekend. Sarri would demand a strong performance from them so that Chelsea can establish more control in midfield.
Attack
Both Eden Hazard and Willian should feature on the wide areas as they look to create some chances for Gonzalo Higuain who will operate as the lone central striker up front.
The Argentine sensation managed to score a brace of goals against Huddersfield Town last weekend which will give him a lot of confidence going into this clash. However, it won’t be an easy outing for him with Aymeric Laporte and John Stones set to mark him closely during the game.
