Wolves clinched another vital victory in the Premier League as they defeated Everton by 1-3 at Goodison Park. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men dominated the proceedings from the word go against the hosts as Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker scored the goals to get their side over the line against the Toffees. Marco Silva’s men pulled one back through Andre Gomes, but it ultimately proved futile as they were handed a disappointing defeat by Wolves.
Here is how the Wolverhampton Wanderers players were rated from their win against Everton.
Rui Patricio: 7
Had a good game in goal against the Toffees. Could do nothing to stop the thunderous strike from Andre Gomes which found the back of the net.
Ryan Bennett: 6
Decent defensive display in the first half. Lacked a bit of composure in the second though.
Conor Coady: 7
Made sure nothing went past him. Could have done better to prevent Gomes from scoring though.
Willy Boly: 7
A gritty performance from the Portuguese as he kept Cenk Tosun and Gylfi Sigurdsson under check.
Matt Doherty: 7
Made a series of runs into the danger area and was brought down in the box to help his side get the first goal from a penalty.
Leander Dendoncker: 7
Kept breaking down the Everton attacks before they could build with his timely interceptions. Scored a great debut goal in the Premier League.
Ruben Neves: 7
Played good link up with the forwards to open up spaces and initiate attacks. Slotted the ball past the keeper in the coolest of fashions to open the scoring for his side.
Joao Moutinho: 8
Played the perfect foil to Leander Dendoncker in midfield. Passed the ball around in the most accurate of ways. Assisted Jimenez with an inch-perfect delivery from a set piece as he scored his 11th goal of the season and the second of the match for Wolves.
Diogo Jota: 7
Kept tormenting the Everton defenders with his darting runs and classy footwork throughout the match.
Raul Jimenez: 8
Kept his brilliant run intact as he helped his side to another superb win in the Premier League. Notched up his 11th goal of the season as he headed home from a well taken free kick by Moutinho.
Substitutes
Romain Saiss: 6
Came on to provide extra cover for the defensive trio at the expense of Ruben Neves and did a decent job.
Helder Costa: NA
Played too little to warrant a rating.
Adama Traore: NA
Played too little to warrant a rating.

Just because it got the Everton fans cheering as the match was extended by seven extra minutes for its sheer presence on the pitch in the second half!
