Antonio Conte is confident that Chelsea supporters will give a warm welcome to Jose Mourinho. The Special One was sacked by Chelsea last December after a string of poor performances and Chelsea subsequently finished 10th.
Manchester United will visit Chelsea on 23rd October and Jose Mourinho will return to the place that once used to be his den. But this time, he has to sit in the away dugout as this will be the first time that the Portuguese will visit Stamford Bridge as a manager of the away team.
Manchester United appointed Mourinho as their manager this season. Conte hopes that The Red Devils gaffer will receive a thunderous welcome from The Blues Supporters, “Jose Mourinho was here for many years and he won a lot with this club and I think it is right to have a great reception. But the next game is very important, because after two defeats against Arsenal and Liverpool it is important to give a different answer.”
Alongside Mourinho ex-Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata is also set to return to the Stamford Bridge.
