West Ham United had a decent outing in their last match against Arsenal as they pulled off a surprising result by defeating the north London giants at the London Stadium. They are now set to take on Bournemouth in their next match and would look to make it two wins in two games.
Bournemouth have hit a rough patch in the Premier League and have not won any of their last four matches. Eddie Howe’s men would look to turn their fortune around in the game against West Ham as they take on the Hammers at Vitality Stadium.
Team News
West Ham United have been struggling with injuries throughout this season and are supposed to be without a number of key players in the match against the Cherries as well. Fabian Balbuena is set to miss out due to injury. However, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez, who is out with a muscle injury, would be assessed before the next match.
Goalkeeper
Lukasz Fabianski had an excellent outing against his former team Arsenal in the last match and would look to keep another clean sheet against the Cherries as well.
Defence
Issa Diop would be joined by Angelo Ogbonna in the heart of the backline after the Italian dished out a gritty performance against the Gunners. Pablo Zabaleta would start on the right side of defence while Aaron Cresswell would put in a shift from the left side.
Midfield
Declan Rice scored a brilliant goal from distance to win the match against Arsenal, and that would be a massive boost for him as he takes the field against Bournemouth. The likes of Mark Noble and Pedro Obiang would start ahead of him in central midfield while Michail Antonio would begin on the right side of midfield. Felipe Anderson would put in a shift from the left-hand side.
Attack
With both Marko Arnautovic unsure about playing for the Hammers in the next match with reports from The Sun coming out that he is not in the right frame of mind to start, the onus would be on Andy Carroll to lead the line while Lucas Perez sits on the bench.
Predicted Formation: 4-1-4-1
