Manchester City kept their juggernaut rolling in the Premier League as they clinched a clinical win at the Etihad Stadium against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Gabriel Jesus struck twice in the first half to get his side over the line in a mostly one-sided match that saw the Citizens press from the word go. Their tactics increased the goal difference between the teams as Conor Coady scored an own goal from a Kevin De Bruyne cross to end all hopes for Wolves.
Chances were few and far for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, who had a disappointing outing. The Wolves were reduced to 10 men as the referee gave Willy Boly marching orders in the first half after a dangerous tackle on compatriot Bernardo Silva.

Made a number of darting runs into the box from the right-hand side. Drew a foul from Ryan Bennett in the box to win a penalty for his team.

Was at his best from the word go. Troubled the Wolves defenders throughout the match and it was his telling cross that just needed a touch from Jesus for the opening goal. Looked menacing throughout.
Gabriel Jesus: 8
Brilliant composure in front of goal as he scored a brace to confirm three important points for his side. Struggled a bit with an apparent back spasm and was taken off in the second half.
