Everton are looking to make a mark in the Premier League after suffering a torrid time in their last few matches. They have not been able to win more than one game in the previous eight outings and are in dire need of wins to turn the tide back in their favour.
However, the Toffees were able to win the third round match in the F.A. Cup against Lincoln City by 2-1 at Goodison Park, which might provide them with a significant boost ahead of their next Premier League clash against Bournemouth.
Team News
Marco Silva would be relieved with the fact that he has no injury worries to deal with and would be able to field a full strength starting eleven in this crucial encounter against the Cherries.
Goalkeeper
After having a decent outing in his last outing for the Toffees in the FA Cup match, Jordan Pickford would start in goal against Bournemouth.
Defence
Marco Silva is expected to go in with a four-man defence with Yerry Mina and Michael Keane starting as the centre-backs. Jonjoe Kenny would start ahead of Seamus Coleman after his decent show in back to back matches against Leicester City and Lincoln City in the right back position. Lucas Digne would begin as the left-back after being rested for the FA Cup match.
Midfield
The duo of Andre Gomes and Idrissa Gana Gueye would marshall the central midfield for the Toffees. The trio of Theo Walcott, Bernard and Gylfi Sigurdsson would put in a shift ahead of them. While Walcott would start on the right side of the midfield, Bernard would begin on the left. Sigurdsson would start in his preferred position right behind the striker.
Attack
After being rested for the FA Cup clash, Richarlison is set to be back in the side to lead the line against the Cherries ahead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Predicted Formation: 4-2-3-1
