Leeds United’s run of seven consecutive wins came to an end as Hull City inflicted a 2-0 defeat on them at Elland Road. The Tigers are one of the most inform teams in the Championship at the moment and Jarrod Bowen’s double sunk United on the day.
Incidentally, the Whites have been linked (Daily Mail) with a January move for him and going by the performance in this game, Bielsa might be persuaded to bring in the winger to West Yorkshire next month.

Bailey Peacock Farrell 6
His ball handling was good as he managed the crosses well. Couldn’t have done much for the goals his side conceded and the defenders were at fault for not keeping the clean sheet.
Luke Ayling 6
Came close to scoring but his header was cleared off the line. Seems to be improving and managed to play a good number of minutes. Looked threatening while going forward.
Pontus Jansson 5
Kamil Grosicki had the better of him on quite a few occasions, and the big Swede struggled to deal with Hull City’s pacy counter attacks. Got booked needlessly later on in the game.
Kalvin Phillips 4
Finally, Bielsa would have gotten his lesson as playing players out of position caught up with him in this game. Phillips had the chance to clear the ball for the first goal, but he missed and Bowen scored. Was found wanting for the most parts of the game.
Barry Douglas 5.5
Worked hard but hardly made any significant impact while going forward. Was substituted early.
Adam Forshaw 4
Struggled to deal with Hull City’s counter attacks and his positioning was slightly off. Mistimed quite a few challenges and got booked. A tough game for the former Middlesbrough midfielder.
Mateusz Klich 5
Looked out of gas for the most parts of the game. The midweek encounter and lack of depth in the squad definitely affected his performance. Got into some good positions in the attacking third but wasn’t able to press home the advantage.
Ezgjan Alioski 5.5
Lacked the cutting edge in the final third like usual but at least managed to do the basic things right. Nothing special to talk about in his performance.
Pablo Hernandez 5
Worked the goalkeeper on a few occasions but the Spaniard wasn’t at his best as he misplaced quite a few passes. As a result, the whole team struggled to get going in the final third.
Jack Harrison 4
It’s becoming a routine now as Harrison starts and gets substituted at halftime. The same thing happened once again. Was ineffective as long as he was on the pitch. Can’t really make out why he even starts.
Kemar Roofe 6
Worked hard and often dropped deep but players behind him weren’t able to carve out any opportunities for their inform striker.
