Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is reportedly on Chelsea’s radar. Antonio Conte has been desperately searching for a defender and Ramos could be the possible one.
Ramos penned a new contract after Manchester United failed to sign him. He played a significant role as Real Madrid won a record 10th and 11th Champions League. Florentino Perez is not impressed with Ramos’ performance and could consider selling him if he gets a good offer for the Spaniard. The 30-year-oldwas signed from Sevilla in 2005.
With the absence of John Terry and Kurt Zouma, Chelsea’s defence has been very shaky throughout this season. Although they have signed David Luiz and Marcos Alonso, the manager wants a well known and experienced defender for them.
It was earlier reported that Conte was planning to launch a record bid for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci. The Italian earlier had a bid rejected for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
