Leading bookmakers have suspended betting on Antonio Conte leaving Chelsea. Conte was appointed at the start of this season and has a contract till 2019 with the west London club.
Conte had a brilliant start to his Premier League career with three back to back wins but after that Chelsea failed to win a single match as they collected three points in their next three outings losing consecutive matches to Liverpool and Arsenal. The Blues finally got back to winning ways just before the international break as they got past Hull City 2-0.
Chelsea was the third highest spender in the transfer market with an estimated £116m splash on David Luiz, Marcos Alonso, N’Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi. Conte is reportedly unhappy with the transfer policy and has asked Roman Abramovic for a rapid change in the squad.
But for now this Italian’s job seems safe as thus this decisions from the bookmakers.
