Tottenham’s win against Inter Milan was the perfect boost that the side needed ahead of the all-important North London derby against Arsenal. Unai Emery’s side have also gathered a fair bit of momentum in the Premier League, but they still find themselves out of the top 4. However, this game gives them the perfect opportunity to make up ground against their major rivals who are currently three points ahead of them.
Spurs win against Chelsea showed that they are not here just to fight for the top 4 and they have quietly gone about their business so far by racking up one win after another. A positive result against Arsenal at the Emirates should set the record straight, and maybe then everyone would consider them as a genuine title contender along with Liverpool and Man City.

Hugo Lloris continues to be the no.1 in goal, and he is likely to have a tough time against the Gunners’ high flying forwards. Jan Veronghen and Toby Alderweireld form a solid partnership, and they need to be at their best to stop the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. Down the left, we feel Danny Rose could start after he made the bench in the last game. Serge Aurier should keep his place as a right back in the absence of Trippier.
Midfield
Moussa Sissoko has been nothing short of a revelation this season. He should start in midfield along with Harry Winks who has put in some strong performances. Eric Dier can be given a go in place of Winks given that he didn’t play the midweek game, but with the kind of form Winks has shown, we believe he should start this vital game.
The attacking onus from midfield should be provided by the likes of Heung Min Son, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen. The trio clicked in the last game against the Blues and showed what devastation they could cause when at their best. Pochettino would hope for a similar performance from them.
Attack
Harry Kane might not be producing the goals in bulk, but he continues to work hard for his side and remains a major threat up front. The former Arsenal youth reject should lead the lines against the Gunners.
