Tottenham Hotspur looked to dominate the proceedings from the word go as they faced Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in their 12th Premier League match of the season. Their techniques brought result in the second half as Juan Foyth headed home the winner from close range. It was somewhat of a redemption for the Argentine defender as he gave away two penalties in the last match against Wolves and was heavily criticised for that.
Crystal Palace, on the other hand, are in deep trouble after another loss by a close margin in an encounter they could have won. However, Roy Hodgson’s men could not take their chances and their lacklustre outing ended on a disappointing note.

Kept passing the ball from the deep and made good interceptions as well.

The versatile midfielder started in the defensive midfielder position and went up and down the pitch with great pace but lacked precision.

Not his best outing. Struggled against Aaron Wan-Bissaka on occasions.

Brilliant display as he twisted and turned his way through the defence and created chances regularly. Unfortunate to leave the field after cutting his forehead due to a collision with Schlupp.

Kept the pressure on the Palace defenders with his ball control and passing. Lacked the required impact though.
Harry Kane: 6
Was not his usual self. Did not get enough space to take his shots. Stung the hands of Wayne Hennessey with a long-range effort in the first half.
