Rangers, who are currently placed in the 5th spot in the Scottish Premiership table, went up against second-placed Kilmarnock at the Ibrox Stadium. The hosts started the match in style as Alfredo Morelos opened the scoring in the 9th minute for his side. However, their joy was short-lived as the visitors went onto level the scores in the 15th minute via Greg Stewart. The scoreline remained unchanged as the two teams went into the halftime break.
In the second half, the Rangers players kept the pressure on their opponents but were unable to find an opening as the match ended in a draw. Here is how the Rangers players were rated from their disappointing draw against Kilmarnock.
Wes Foderingham: 6
Not much to do for the goalie on the night other than conceding the goal.
James Tavernier: 6
Marshalled his troops well and was active on the right-hand side of the field throughout the match.
Connor Goldson: 6
Was a decent performance from the centre back. Fought hard to keep the opposition attackers away from goal.
Joe Worrall: 6
Looked shaky on occasions but a good performance overall.
Jon Flanagan: 5.5
Tried his best to get the ball in the right areas from the back but lacked execution.
Lassana Coulibaly: 6
Did his job well in the midfield to hold off the opposition. Made a few good runs up the pitch as well.
Scott Arfield: 5.5
Could not do much to get control of the ball and also lost the ball on a few occasions.
Andy Halliday: 6
Looked cool and composed in the midfield.
Ryan Kent: 7
Deployed on the left-hand side, the English youngster took on the entire Kilmarnock defence and bamboozled them with his footwork. Lacked the finishing touch though.
Daniel Candeias: 6
A decent outing for the experienced player as he kept finding new openings in the Kilmarnock defence but could not take advantage of them.
Alfredo Morelos: 8
As agile as ever but could not score more than one goal. Was booked for showing his discontent with the referee’s decision.
