Chelsea have made a near perfect start to their Premier League season and have emerged as one of the dark horses for the league title. They are currently sandwiched between Manchester City and Liverpool in the 2nd spot of the league table.
One of the main areas of concern for Maurizio Sarri to address has been the lack of goals from their strikers up top. Both Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata have failed to score enough goals this season which is why the Chelsea boss needs to bring in a new forward, who could hopefully be more prolific in front of goal.
Here are three strikers for Sarri to consider when the transfer window reopens in January.
Hirving Lozano
The Mexican attacker had an impressive 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign in Russia while representing his country against some of the best teams in the world. He has managed to bring the good form for his country to the club level this season. Lozano has found the back of the net nine times while providing two assists in 13 appearances for PSV Eindhoven across all competitions. He would be a fantastic addition to the Chelsea frontline if Maurizio Sarri can manage to recruit him in the near future.
Ciro Immobile
The Italian centre-forward has been a consistent goal-scorer for Lazio over the past few years. He has a wonderful knack of registering his name on the scoresheet on a regular basis and would add some much-needed firepower to the Pensioners frontline if Sarri can successfully bring him to Stamford Bridge in January. Immobile has scored six goals in 10 matches for the Serie A outfit this season and is only getting better with each season.
Timo Werner
The 22-year-old German frontman had lit up the Bundesliga with some dazzling displays for RB Leipzig last season. He has also made an excellent start to this campaign scoring four goals and providing two assists in nine matches for the Bundesliga club so far.
Werner has a lot of potential and could be moulded into a brilliant striker in Europe if given the opportunity to showcase his skills at a big club like Chelsea.
