Real Madrid will go head to head with Alaves on Saturday evening hoping to bounce back from their recent poor run of results across all competitions. The Galacticos have not scored in any of their past three matches and have shipped in 4 goals during that time. Julen Lopetegui’s men would be expected to get a favourable result against Alaves this weekend, and the return of Gareth Bale from injury could give them a significant boost going forward.
It is expected that Los Blancos will lineup in a 4-3-3 formation and their manager might make a number of changes for this upcoming league match.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Alaves
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will return to Lopetegui’s starting XI after being rested in the midweek defeat against CSKA Moscow. The defensive partnership between Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos might continue at the centre of the Galacticos backline while Marcelo would be in a race against time to be fit to start at left-back.
Lopetegui is expected to opt for Dani Carvajal to operate as the right-back as the Spaniard looks to use his dynamism going forward. The Madrid defenders need to keep things tight at the back so that they can build a strong defensive record in the La Liga which would help them compete for the league title at the top of the league table.
Midfield
The impressive trio of Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Luka Modric are going to feature at the middle of the pitch. All three midfielders have begun the season in majestic form, and they could combine to make a significant contribution against Alaves at the Mendizorrotza Stadium.
However, Isco will have to settle for a place on the bench despite Lopetegui’s team failing to find the back of the net in their last three outings across all competitions.
Attack
The Madrid attack would be comprised of Marco Asensio, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale who are expected to trouble the Alaves defence in the attacking third. Asensio has caught the eye with some fantastic displays over the past month. However, his form has dipped recently which would be a cause for concern.
Bale is also a major doubt for this game and could be replaced by Lucas Vasquez if he misses out on Saturday.
