Liverpool have been handed a major boost before the clash against arch rivals Manchester United as Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne are set to be fit before the much-anticipated4 clash.
Lovren injured his groin during Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Swansea. He even pulled himself out of Croatia’s World Cup Qualifier against Kosovo and Finland. Croatia’s team doctor Boris Nemec said that the defender was in so pain that he couldn’t able to sit and walk.
Nathaniel Clyne was also left out of England’s squad after suffering a knee injury. With the International break resumed the left back is expected to get back on the field before the United match. Jurgen Klopp is confident both Lovren and Klopp will be fit before the match.
However, there is no certainty over Adam Lallana’s injury. The midfielder suffered a groin injury in the last match and was seen limping off the ground. The English International is currently going through treatment at the Melwood Training Ground.
