Latest reports from Liverpool Echo suggests that Fabinho could be involved in the next game against Brighton and Hove Albion. The Brazilian who was signed from Monaco is still waiting for his debut in the Premier League as he wasn’t even in the squad at Selhurst Park. He was an unused substitute in the first game against West Ham United.
It’s believed that Jurgen Klopp wants to slowly ease him into the first team and this should not come as a surprise to many as even with Alex Oxlade Chamberlain last season, the manager took it slow in giving him game time initially. Reports also suggest that Roberto Firmino and Georginio Wijnaldum could be rested in this game as they trained away from the rest of the group on Tuesday. That could mean Daniel Sturridge and Jordan Henderson can get their first start of the season.
Liverpool would be looking to continue their 100 percent record, however, the Seagulls game won’t be a cakewalk as they are coming on the back of a win against Manchester United where they dominated the Red Devils in every department.
Liverpool will be delighted to be in such a situation where they are spoilt for choices in various positions. Last season, they had a strong eleven but seem to lack enough depth in the squad. That is not the case this year.

Many were considering Fabinho to be part of the Reds squad from the offset but a new player often takes time to get used to his surroundings and the manager’s philosophy and system. He might be given a start as well but we believe at the moment, Henderson will be ahead in the pecking order. Though there is a good chance that Fabinho will come off the bench later in the game.
