Leeds United looked to extend their unbeaten run in the Championship as they faced Swansea City at Liberty Stadium. After their team’s dominant show in all the matches so far, the Whites fans would have been hoping for another win against the Welsh side. However, that was not the case for Marcelo Bielsa’s men as they scraped out a draw from a hard-fought affair.
The Swans took the lead in the match through Oliver McBurnie, who was rampant on the night and got a couple to his name. However, Leeds United struck back in the 40th and 79th minute through Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez respectively, sharing the spoils with Graham Potter’s men as the match ended at 2-2.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell: 6
Had a mixed night, to say the least. To be blamed for allowing both the goals but made a few good saves, one to deny McBurnie his hat-trick and another in the fag end of the match to stop Bersant Celina from scoring in a one-on-one situation.
Jamie Shackleton: 6
Looked impressive at times but needs to be more composed. Great assist to help Roofe open the scoring for Leeds.
Gaetano Berardi: 5
Failed in what he was assigned to do, i.e., keep McBurnie from scoring. Made a few good blocks though.
Luke Ayling: 7
Played his part in defending the goal but could have done a lot better with a little assistance from Berardi. Looked composed throughout the match.
Barry Douglas: 5
An off day in the office for the left-back as he failed to mark the attackers, especially Celina. Was unable to speed down the wing to initiate attacks.
Kalvin Phillips: 3
Was the worst player on the pitch tonight. Picked up a yellow card very early in the match and was substituted within the first half hour.
Pablo Hernandez: 7
Looked pretty sedate from the word go but made the real impact by scoring the all-important second goal for his side to help them draw level with the Swans and steal a point.
Samuel Saiz: 5
Was not able to make an impact on the game whatsoever. Picked up an unnecessary booking towards the end of the match.
Mateusz Klich: 5
Was nowhere near the form that he has been showing since the start of the season. Had to play in a deeper position in the midfield due to Phillips’ absence.
Ezgjan Alioski: 4
Failed to pull any string in the first half and was eventually substituted.
Kemar Roofe: 7
Was kept quiet by Swansea’s strong defensive display. Met at the end of Shackleton’s delivery to bring his side back into the match with an easy tap-in.

Lewis Baker: 6
Looked good from the word go and made things mobile in the midfield after being brought on for Phillips.
Jack Harrison: 6
Showed agility and made amends for Alioski with his swift footwork. Could have been more impactful though.
Patrick Bamford: 6
Could not get his name on the scoresheet but caused trouble for the Swansea defence. Played provider to Hernandez for the all-important second goal.
