According to Goal, as cited by Metro, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has already planned to bolster his attack in the January transfer window and has a few names on his wishlist already. The former Napoli boss is looking to add more firepower to his side and has his eyes on Nabil Fekir and Christian Pulisic.
The Blues had struggled in the last term to put up an impressive show with a lacklustre show from the forwards, especially Alvaro Morata. The Spanish striker went onto score only 15 goals in 48 matches for the west London club and it was a very disappointing show from the former club record signing. Chelsea brought in French star Olivier Giroud last January but he too failed to show up as an upgrade over Morata.
This season as well, the Spaniard has failed to impress the new manager in the pre-season tournaments as well as in the opening game of the Premier League 2018/19 season. He missed a few genuine chances which asked to be put into the back of the net by any top-level striker but he failed to do so. This has prompted the Italian manager to take further steps to beef up his attack and he already has the aforementioned players as his winter targets.
While Fekir has been a long-term target for Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Liverpool, the Blues are looking to gazump them in the race to sign the French star. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder had a superb World Cup campaign and is expected to leave his current club Lyon in the near future.

On the other hand, Pulisic has been a revelation for Borussia Dortmund and has lit up the Bundesliga with his skills and goal scoring abilities. If Sarri can get his hands on both the players, it will be a step forward towards success for the Blues.
