If latest reports from the Metro are to be believed then Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho are not on talking terms and the manager has asked the World Cup winner to hand in an official transfer request if he doesn’t want to play for the club again. Pogba after the Leicester City game gave a cryptic interview where he said, ”There are things I can say and there are things that I cannot say, otherwise I will get fined’’
It’s being said that such comments left the manager miffed after he handed him the captain’s armband for the first encounter. It was a surprise that Pogba was even starting in the playing eleven as he had joined the squad late after his exploits in the World Cup with France. However, it was a big show of confidence from Mourinho to start him straightaway and hand him the captaincy.
Mourinho has often been blamed for not getting the best out of the Frenchman. While playing for his country, Pogba looks like a different beast altogether.
The relationship between the two have reached a low point and the midfielder has asked Mourinho to communicate with him through his agent Mino Raiola. Barcelona are of the interested parties in the former Juventus midfielder and it will be interesting to see whether this reported bust-up will have an effect on his future in the ongoing transfer period.

Mourinho just cannot let a player of Pogba’s calibre go as he tries to chase down Manchester City. Another season of failure for the Red Devils will spell doom for Mourinho and without the influential French midfielder, his task will be further cut out. With close to two weeks to go in the transfer period, we sure have an interesting time ahead.
