According to The Express, new Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has decided against letting striker Lucas Piazon leave on loan again this season. The Blues had a busy transfer window towards the end of it this summer as they made two significant signings in the form of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao and Mateo Kovacic on loan from Real Madrid. However, they had to part ways with their influential goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who moved to the Spanish capital.
The former Napoli manager has been looking to beef up his squad with new faces and he has already done that in the first match where he paired new signing Jorginho with Ross Barkley and N’golo Kante in the middle of the pitch. However, his main concern would be the attack as both his strikers, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have not been able to show the spark that a top team might need and this is where Piazon might come into play.
The 24 year old Brazilian has played in various leagues in the last five years including that of Vitesse Arnhem, Malaga, Reading, Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt. This has supposedly helped him to develop into a better player, who can come in handy for Sarri in which is going to be a long season of football. A player like Piazon can be a good option to lead the attack in the Cup competitions so that Morata and Giroud can get ample rest and be ready to give their best in the Premier League and European campaigns.

As per Tutto Mercato Web, the Italian gaffer has got himself an admirer in Piazon and he is determined not to let him leave the Bridge this summer. He has even blocked negotiations and it looks like the 24-year-old is set to spend the season in west London.
