Chelsea winger Willian is aiming to earn some titles under the guidance of the club’s new manager Maurizio Sarri amidst speculation linking him with a switch to Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent weeks. According to Goal.com, the Brazilian international wants to win some major trophies while playing under the Italian boss at Stamford Bridge.
The 29-year-old was recently named as the club captain for the International Champions Cup match against Lyon which ended in a scoreless draw at West London. The Pensioners are now preparing for their season opener against Huddersfield Town on Saturday which will take place at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Willian is currently enjoying life at the London club and is looking forward to the new season with Chelsea. In a recent interview, the Brazilian star revealed that he believes the Pensioners can secure some silverware under Sarri in the upcoming campaign.
Willian was quoted to have said, “Of course, I am ready. I have to improve more in the physical aspect but I feel good,”
“I felt good today to play around 65 minutes, it was good for me and I am ready to play this season.
“We have to look forward because we have a lot of games this season and we want to win titles. He is a great manager, he is an intelligent manager. He works a lot and we will try to improve. Of course, we have just started. We are right at the beginning but we can do good things this season.”
The Brazilian received a wonderful reception from the home crowd at Stamford Bridge versus Lyon on Tuesday and has disclosed his happiness to be back in familiar surroundings. He added, “It is always good to play at home,”

“It doesn’t matter what the game is or against who, it is good to play at home. It is good to come back here. It is good to feel the atmosphere from the fans. I think we did a great job here today.”
