Aaron Ramsey’s future at Arsenal is hanging in the balance as he has entered in the final year of his contract and the 27-year-old midfielder has yet not committed his future at the Emirates. As a result of this, he has been continuously linked with a move away from the club with some heavyweight clubs vying for him. However, football finance expert Kieran Maguire claims that West Ham United cannot be counted out from a move as well.
He was quoted as saying,”Never rule out West Ham for Ramsey – [David] Gold and Sullivan have backed the manager very well already. It would be a great signing if they could tempt him away – and would help them get back into the top six. Getting two of Arsenal powerhouse midfielders would be great. But he would be expecting big wages, which is the stumbling block with his contract at the moment. So if West Ham can afford it, he could move.”
The Hammers are looking for a new beginning under Manuel Pellegrini, and they have acquired well in the transfer market. A lot will be expected out of the East London outfit this season as they look to break the shackles of mediocrity.
Ramsey was impressive last campaign as he scored some crucial goals for the Gunners. There were reports earlier that the Spanish manager will look to build his side around him so these recent developments will come as a surprise to many.

It will be important for Unai Emery to keep hold of him as he the Welshman can do pretty much everything in midfield. On the other side, the Hammers should try and lure him to the Olympic Stadium in the last few days of the transfer window to test Arsenal’s resolve.
