According to the Evening Times, Celtic are inching closer to seal a deal for the Australian teenage star Daniel Arzani this summer. The player, as per reports, has already arrived in the UK and is expected to complete a move from the A-League club Melbourne City to its parent club Manchester City, upon which he will embark on a long-term loan spell at the Parkhead. it has now been confirmed by Brendan Rodgers that the player will join Celtic in the next few days.
The Scottish giants had a reasonably quiet window this summer, one of the reasons of which might be that they have a well-set team at their disposal with every player well aware of their roles in the side. Under the tutelage of Brendan Rodgers, the Hoops had won the “domestic treble” in the last two seasons. However, it seems that Rodgers is interested in bringing the Australian teenage star to the Celtic Park this summer and the deal is set to be completed this weekend.
The Celtic manager has a team of players with a right balance of youth and experience, and Arzani will give a new dimension to their attack. Celtic already have a brilliant Australian player in the form of their midfield ace Tom Rogic and his compatriot Arzani can learn a lot about the club and the manager from him shortly.

Celtic, however, are not looking to end their transfer business after the acquisition of the Australian starlet and as per latest reports, Rodgers believes that there will be more arrivals this summer. He said, “Essentially I am working with the players we have. They are outstanding talents, and they have been great for me over the last couple of years but there is no doubt that we need to strengthen and that is something the club are very much aware of.”
