According to the Daily Star, Wilfried Zaha has rejected a new deal from Crystal Palace as he eyes a move to the Premier League biggies Chelsea. Reportedly, Palace had offered the Ivorian international a new deal worth £125,000-a-week as they looked desperate to keep hold of the Ivorian international. However, it seems that the 25-year-old, who won the Player of The Season at Selhurst Park last term, is determined to leave for Stamford Bridge this summer.
The former Manchester United winger has been a firm favourite for Tottenham Hotspur, who were looking to bring him in for quite some time now. However, it seems that the player is now west London bound, having already rejected an approach from Everton to bring him in, making Chelsea the current favourites to land him this summer.
The Ivorian attacker played a major role with the Eagles in their run for survival in the top flight after the disastrous start in the last season and attracted the attention of a number of clubs including Chelsea. The Blues are reportedly leading the chase over their North London rivals Tottenham and are well aware of the fact that they will have to shell out significant cash to bring the player in this summer.
Zaha has four years left on his current contract and the Eagles have slapped a hefty price tag on him with the current £100,000-a-week contract. According to The Mirror, the South London club have already rejected a £30m bid from Chelsea as they are reportedly looking for a £45m offer from the West London outfit.
