According to Goal.com, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is expecting one more player to join the club this summer. The report also states that the Portuguese tactician has been discontent with the transfer activity of his club and has told the fans to expect more or less the same team from the last term.
The former Chelsea manager, who took the reins of the club two seasons ago, has not been able to deliver the results expected of him so far. He has been one of the finest managers in the history of Premier League but it seems that he has lost his aura and might now be on the verge of parting ways with the club.
Mourinho has alleged the Manchester club to have not fulfilled his wish of having at least two more signings this season, which might be hinder the team’s progress in the forthcoming season. He has cut a frustrated figure in the pre-season tour of Manchester United and is clearly discontent with whatever resources the club has provided him with this summer.
With the only heavyweight signing being Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk so far, the Portuguese manager has got none of the players on his wishlist. Mourinho has been eyeing the likes of Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld, Willian and Ivan Persic to be included in his side this summer but from the current look of things, he is going to get either one or none of them, which is sure to make the manager very unhappy.
