It is believed that the Dutchman will now have to make a decision on which club he wants to play for going into the new season.

Some sources are now claiming that Leeds United could be the potential destination for the Championship sensation, who has settled into English football well since his arrival at Griffin Park from PSV Eindhoven in January 2017. He has put in a number of majestic displays for the Bees during the course of last season which has not gone unnoticed by other clubs.
The 27-year-old wide man is very versatile and can operate on either wing which makes him a perfect fit for the Whites. The Brentford prospect is quite direct with his runs and is fearless while taking on opposition defenders, something that the current Peacocks team are lacking. Hence, a move to Elland Road makes sense as he is exactly the kind of talent who can flourish under the expert stewardship of Marcelo Bielsa if given the chance to prove his worth at the West Yorkshire club.
Jozefzoon had featured in 58 matches in the Skybet Championship, finding the back of the net 8 times while creating 9 assists so far. The Bees talent also has a lot of experience in the Dutch Eredivisie and has represented his country at the youth level.
The Peacocks had another disheartening campaign last season when they could only grind out a 13th placed finish in the second tier of English football. Their new boss Marcelo Bielsa will need to make some clever additions to his squad during the summer transfer window if his players are to compete for a top 6 place next season. The potential addition of Jozefzoon will undoubtedly bolster Bielsa’s attacking options at the West Yorkshire club. The 27-year-old winger can light up the league with his flashy talents which is why the Whites should go all out to secure his services in this off-season.
Leeds have some promising wide men in their ranks such as Pablo Hernandez, Samuel Sáiz, Ezgjan Alioski, Hadi Sacko and Stuart Dallas, who are all competing for a place on the flanks in Bielsa’s starting XI. The acquisition of Jozefzoon will improve their team significantly and add more competition for places within Bielsa’s squad.

At 27, the Dutch speedster is currently at his prime which the Peacocks could look to benefit from, in the next few seasons. Only time will tell what lies ahead in the future of Jozefzoon and whether he ends up making a switch to Elland Road before the start of the new campaign.
