Malcom Filipe Silva de Oliveira aka Malcom is finally proving his worth and is attracting interest from foreign clubs for the chance to obtain his signature. Skysports have made an interesting claim at informing the masses that Girondins de Bordeaux and Everton FC are in advanced talks over the arrival of Malcom from Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux to Goodison Park.
It is believed that the chairman of the Ligue 1 club, Stephane Martin, will meet representatives of the Merseyside club on Thursday. The valuation of the player is being courted around £30m. The sum is expected to rise due to add-ons over a period of five years, allowing the winger to pocket £80,000 a week in wages.
The Brazil under-23 international is a handful to come up against as he possesses a lot of trickery which he uses well to get himself out of problematic situations and displays his abilities well when running at opposition defenders with the ball at his feet. He has learnt to familiarize himself to make good use of both his feet which makes it complicated for defenders in attempting to stop the attacking winger during the game of play.
A miscalculated challenge for the ball can end up with the defender picking up a card or being left in his tracks as Malcom accelerates and takes the opportunity to slow him down, away from the opposition’s feet. He has a fabulous left foot and is never shy in seizing the opportunity to launch the ball into the opposition net.
SkySports News also reports that English giants Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal were setting their sights on the in-demand player during the January transfer window while the likes of German champions Bayern Munich and Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United were showing some level of interest towards the player.
Come February, a month after the transfer market had been drawn to a halt, Malcom opened the can and decided to let the public become aware of the developments that had taken place between the player and his current club stating the agreement between the two parties was,”I will choose the team, and Bordeaux will let me go.”

Malcom will fit well into Marco Silva’s ideology and will be effective at both ends of the field. The young Brazilian attracts appreciation wherever he plays and is sure to light up Goodison Park and the rest of the League if Everton are successful in reaching an agreement for the winger.
