Christian Atsu who was loaned by Chelsea to Newcastle United has been linked with a move to Torino. The Ghanaian arrived at Chelsea in 2013 from FC Porto and is yet to play a match for them.
According to reports, Torino are interested in taking the player on loan in the upcoming transfer window. Atsu has spent a significant time playing on loan at various clubs with the likes of Everton, Bournemouth and Malaga and has a contract till 2018 with Chelsea.
Earlier, former interim Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez said that the winger needs more time to acclimatise himself to the Championship as he lacks the Physical strength. The Magpies have the option to buy him back after the loan spell ends but it is unlikely to happen.
Torino defeated AS Roma 3-1 in their last match. If Atsu does join Torino he will be playing alongside Joe Hart who also moved to Torino on Loan from Manchester City.
