Alexander Isak , touted as ‘the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ is reportedly wanted by Liverpool. A host of clubs including Manchester United, Leicester City, Barcelona , Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in the teenager and have been scouting him for the past few months.
Isak who turned 17 this month has already netted 9 times for AIK Solna. He scored on his debut in February and since then has been an integral part of the first team. Barcelona has been scouting the youngster from the last season.
Isak’s teammate Chinedu Obasi heaped praises on the 17-year-old The Sweden U17 player has struck seven times for them. Isak’s current contract runs until 2018 and Klopp who is an acute believer of young talents is very impressed with the striker. But signing him won’t be easy for the German as the player already garnered interest from the top clubs in Europe.
The comparisons are premature, but if he can develop steadily, the football fraternity might not have to wait to see another Zlatan-esque player ripping apart teams.
