West Ham United are plotting a move for Sporting Cp full-back Cristiano Piccini this summer. According to recent reports, the Italian defender is on the Hammers’ radar and could be in line to make a switch to the London Stadium during this summer transfer period.
Some sources are now claiming that the Italian is currently weighing his options ahead of the new season with the East London club eager to snap him up this summer. Piccini had featured in 40 matches for Sporting CP last season and has three assists to his name in all competitions. The Sporting CP defender has a wealth of experience in Portuguese and Italian football so he shouldn’t have much trouble coping with the pressure of playing at the top level.
