Real Madrid easily have one of the strongest, if not the strongest squads in club football at the moment but the loss of Zinedine Zidane as a manager will certainly effect the club next season. Florentino Perez will be desperate to make sure that he can replace the French tactician ably this summer but that has not stopped him from scouting for first team additions for the next season.
There are quite a few stars currently at Bernabeu constantly linked with an exit. While Welsh international Gareth Bale has been vocal about the lack of game time in Madrid, Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo has also reportedly decided to quit the club this summer. The former Manchester United man’s decision is reportedly ‘irreversible’, pushing Madrid into the transfer market.
So it does not come as a surprise that they are linked with the best players in Europe at the moment and one name that has now reappeared is Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine international was a transfer target for the La Liga giants last summer as well but Juventus were not really keen on selling. Reports now say that Real Madrid have once again turned their attention towards that former Palermo star and are ready to meet his valuation.
The story claims that Harry Kane signing a contract extension with Tottenham Hotspur and PSG revealing a €300m release clause in Neymar’s contract that will only be active after the end of the current transfer window, Perez has decided that Dybala is the right man to add a breath of fresh air to the attack at his club.

A versatile and gifted attacker, who can play anywhere in the front line, the 24-year old already has close to 200 Serie A appearances and is a regarded as one of the best players in his role at the moment in Europe. He is an excellent dribbler, can create chances out of nothing, and fits the profile of a Galactico and with Real Madrid now desperate for a new name in their rooster, Juventus might struggle to keep him in Turin beyond this summer.
In fact, Real Madrid might be tempted to spend on Dybala even if Ronaldo stays put. The Portuguese international will continue to play most games next season as well and by putting Dybala behind him, he might be unleashing a new animal.
He won’t be coming cheap but the quality that he will bring to Spain is not something they would want to miss. So do you think they Real Madrid can land Dybala?
