Reports have surfaced linking Wolves and Leeds United target, Abel Hernandez to Turkish outfit, Galatasaray. The 27-year-old striker is set to ditch Hull City at the end of June after having bid goodbye to the fans already. Nuno Espirito Santo was planning on getting him to the Molineux for his team’s next season fight in the Premier League but will now have to face competition from a continental rival.
This particularly should be unsettling for the Wanderers since their recent purchase, Benik Afobe is also attracting heavy interest from Stoke City. The newly appointed Potters boss, Gary Rowett has expressed interest in the ex Bournemouth striker who just signed a permanent contract with the 2017/18 EFL Championship winners for £10m.

The Pando-born attacker has a keen scoring eye and already has 49 games worth of Premier League experience. He has 122 caps for Palermo and is currently one of the most prolific number nines in the English second division.
Getting him for free is nothing but a miracle for Wolves who will be needing a starting number nine for the following season. Santo did not approach Al-Hilal for a permanent transfer of Leo Bonatini after witnessing the 24-year-old misfire for 25 straight games last term.

If Afobe quits the side for Stoke, Wolves might have to start thinking about making Hernandez one of their highest-paid players to beat out competition from Galatasaray.
