Keylor Navas has had to deal with constant speculation of other goalkeepers being signed by Real Madrid to replace him as he is not being considered good enough by the board and the fans. However, he has given his all since he joined them and probably deserves much more respect than he is being given at the club.
According to reports, these transfer stories have left Navas frustrated and he is not ready to stay at the club for next season. The goalkeeper has managed just 11 clean sheets in all competitions this season but that has largely been down to poor defending by the defenders. Yes, the Costa Rican custodian has made some errors on some occasions, but more often than not he has come up with the goods and has helped his team immensely in the last 3 years. His contract is until 2020 and we might see him being sold after this transfer window.
One of the major shortcomings in his game is his ability to distribute the ball and play out from the back and he has been found wanting in those departments. In a situation where Real Madrid decides to sell him, we look at three goalkeepers who they can go after in the summer.
David De Gea
He will probably the favourite to succeed Navas as the Spaniard has been linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu for quite a while now. He will surely be an upgrade over the Costa Rican goalkeeper but Madrid might have to shell out a huge amount of money to bring him in. However, we know that the Galacticos are not shy about spending big bucks in the transfer market and they can certainly make a swoop for De Gea.
Thibaut Courtois
With Chelsea set to miss out on Champions League football, it can be a huge boost for Los Blancos in their pursuit of this big Belgian. Along with De Gea, he has been one of the best in the business in the Premier League. Courtois has an experience of playing in La Liga when he was with Real Madrid’s arch rival Atletico Madrid and his signing at the other half of Madrid, will certainly make the derbies more interesting.

Alisson Becker
Real Madrid are known for their go big or go home approach in the transfer market and they can make a move for this impressive Brazilian. AS Roma has put a whopping price tag of £87m on his head but if Florentino Perez and the Madrid board decides on having their man, no price tag will stop them.
