Celtic have had yet another splendid season under Brendan Rodgers. They are on the verge of completing yet another domestic treble come this weekend. It has been a dream journey for them so far in the domestic circuit and Rodgers will be hoping to build on his squad in the summer to continue their dominance.
The key to the success under Rodgers has been the perfect blend of youth and experience with the manager more than eager to give his youngsters a chance to prove themselves on the big stage. Celtic will know that the other teams will be gunning to take them down and hence will need to strengthen over the summer to stay ahead.
Here are 3 players we feel Celtic should target to help their cause next term.
Scott McTominay
It is not easy for every youngster to break through into the first team under Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager prefers to field experienced players rather than charge into matches with young guns. A pragmatic manager by all extents, only hard work and a determination to succeed under any circumstances is what can convince the special one to alter his mind.
That is exactly what Scott McTominay has done at Manchester United. Despite the likes of Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick being present in the side, the youngster has held his own. He has been impressive so far but might find it harder to get a chance in the team next season if Mourinho gets in reinforcement and Celtic should consider a loan deal for him.
Joe Willock
The Arsenal midfielder has had a good debut season. He has not only broken into the first team amidst the likes of Granit Xhaka, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey but also played well enough to merit a starting spot in several European matches.
He is a talented midfielder who can run with the ball and can make things happen in the midfield. He will be another player who will find chances to feature for the first team come at a premium and might do better by seeking a loan move to Celtic.

Sam Johnstone
If Aston Villa fail to win the playoffs, he should consider leaving them for another team. He is unlikely to warrantee a first-team spot as long as Manchester United, his parent club, as long as David De Gea is there and hence should seek a move away to Celtic where he is likely to be the first-choice keeper.
