According to latest reports, the bookmakers are currently keeping Wolverhampton Wanderers as one of the favourites to sign Manchester City outcast custodian Joe Hart. The English goalkeeper is currently on a loan spell at West Ham United and he would have been looking to revive his career before the upcoming World Cup. However, he hasn’t covered himself in glory with his recent performances at the west London based club as he has been behind some fatal errors, which have cost his team dearly.
However, the Hammers have all but sealed their future in the Premier League with four points from their last two matches. David Moyes has done a good job to keep the team afloat but he has struggled at the back with his goalkeeping options.
Hart was expected to be the undisputed number 1 choice for the Hammers when he arrived at the London Stadium but after some poor outings, Moyes had to go with the Spanish shot-stopper, Adrian. Hart has managed just 6 clean sheets in 23 appearances this term.
Wolves have been terrific this season as they won the Championship with ease. Nuno Santo has transformed the side and they have dominated the second division. Their domination can be known from the fact that the West Midlands club were on top of the table since mid-November and no team has looked close to challenging them.
They have been defensively solid as well and John Ruddy has done a decent job whenever called upon. The Englishman has kept 24 clean sheets this season in the Championship but it seems like Nuno Santo might bring in Joe Hart to add more competition for a place in the goalkeeping department.
Hart might not be having the best of times but he is still an experienced customer and he will certainly add a good value to the Wolves’ squad. He might have to bide his time before he becomes the first choice option but the English goalkeeper has shown that he is ready to fight for his place and career.
His current team West Ham United, have indicated that they might not extend his loan spell or sign him on a permanent basis. It is also clear that Hart doesn’t have a future with the Citizens as Pep Guardiola doesn’t rate him highly.

The former England number one could be up for grabs in the summer transfer market and at 31, he could be a good bet for Nuno Santo. He has been a thorough professional and has not cribbed about regular first team football and has shown determination to win back his place and he still might go on to revive his career with the newly promoted Championship winners next season.
