Ryan Giggs who was heavily linked to Swansea City has denied any approach from the Wales club. Rumours have been rounding up that Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins is interested in bringing in the winger as the next manager.
Swansea have only managed four points so far from five matches and will be facing Manchester City at the Liberty Stadium. Giggs had the experience of managing United for four games when Moyes was sacked. He even was the assistant to Louis Van Gaal and was offered a place in Jose Mourinho’s back room stuff. But he rejected it and thus ended his 29-year association with the club.
“There has been no approach from Swansea City but, in any case, there is a manager in place at the club,” Giggs told the radio station. “I’m happy with life outside of the game right now and enjoying media work. “At some stage, further down the line, it’s no secret I’d like to get back into football as a coach, but that’s for later, not now.”
Giggs was also linked with Swansea after Gary Monk’s exit but remained with Manchester United. After leaving Old Trafford gigs is right now busy doing TV Shows and managing his club Salford City which he partly owns.
