Wolves are keeping close tabs on West Brom defender, Craig Dawson, along with three other Premier League clubs. The newly promoted Wanderers side could be without their star defender, Willy Boly next season if Wolves cannot finalise a deal for the defender. In such a scenario, the Baggies centre-back as the likely replacement.
Dawson will quite conceivably make his way out of the Hawthorns Stadium if Albion fail to escape relegation this season. West Brom are at the bottom-most spot of the Premier League and are basing all their survival hopes on the misfortunes of Stoke City, Southampton and Swansea City along with two wins in the final two games of the regular season.

An unfortunate knee injury kept Dawson out of action for almost two months this campaign but the 27-year-old returned just after the Boxing Day to prove his worth.
He has appeared in 30 games for the Throstles this season, which totals out to 178 over the past 8 years. Albion’s current season should not rule out Dawson’s capabilities completely.
He is an experienced head who can lead the backline with his top-pedigree defensive abilities. In addition to the composure he brings to the centre-back position, Dawson is also capable of playing from the right-back position. Versatility could be his middle name from the vast array of traits he possesses.
After Alan Pardew’s departure from the Hawthorns, Dawson has managed to take over Jonny Evans’ starting spot under the interim manager, Darren Moore. He and Ahmed Hegazi has given top sides like Manchester United and Liverpool a run for their money.
Dawson is also a 15-time England international for the U21 level and holds 3 senior caps for Great Britain. At 27, he is in the prime of his playing career and could line up quite well next to Conor Coady and Ryan Bennett in the Wolves team next season.

The Molineux-based outfit will require a similar defensive solidarity as they have showcased in the second division this season.
