Everton will be travelling to Kirklees stadium to take on Huddersfield Town. The Merseyside club started their season poorly under Ronald Koeman but they have improved leaps and bounds as the season has progressed. They are currently in a comfortable eighth spot. However, they are pretty much out of contention for a Europa League spot as Burnley are eight points clear of them with only three games remaining.
The Toffees jumped on to the 8th spot after their win against the high flying Newcastle United. Huddersfield, on the other hand, is fighting hard to stay in the Premier League. They have pretty much in line to ensure their safety as they are 6 points clear of the relegation zone. However, they won’t be taking things for granted and will like to add another 2-3 point to ensure safety.
Everton are in a rich vein of form as they have only been beaten by Manchester City in their last 6 matches. Sam Allardyce has some players available due to long-term injuries and one of those is the big summer signing Gylfi Sigurdsson. Other players who are going to miss out are Mason Holgate, James McCarthy and Eliaquim Mangala.

Defence:
Jordan Pickford is expected to be picked in goal. He has been a good signing as he has made some crucial saves for the Toffees. He will be protected by the centre-back pairing of Phil Jagielka and Michael Keane. Coleman will be starting in the right back spot. He hasn’t looked the same after coming back from his long-term injury. However, he is still a good bet in the backline. The experienced Leighton Baines will take his usual left-back role.
Midfield:
Morgan Schneiderlin is expected to be back in the lineup. He was substituted after an injury in his previous game against Newcastle. Idriss Gueye will partner him in the middle of the park and will shield the defence.
The attacking output from midfield will be provided by Theo Walcott, Wayne Rooney and Yannick Bolasie. Walcott scored the winner against Newcastle in the previous game and has slowly become a crucial player for The Merseyside club since his signing in January. Rooney has had an inconsistent season. He started up front in the early part of the season but has played the central midfield and no10 role ever since. He will be expected to start behind the striker in this clash.
Forward:
Another one of the January signings who has been doing well for the Toffees is Cenk Tosun and he will lead the attack against Huddersfield.
