Manchester United are being linked to the highly rated Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan. The Belgian has been impressive for last few seasons with AS Roma and has played a huge part in Roma’s successful run in the Champions League this year. Naingollan is considered to be one of the best ‘box to box’ midfielders in today’s age and he will certainly bolster the Red Devils squad if he decides to join them.
United are pretty much assured of the second spot in the Premier League and are in the finals of the FA Cup. They will take on their arch-rivals Chelsea and it will certainly be a terrific encounter as both the managers will look to finish their season with a silverware.
United have been criticised and Mourinho has usually come under a lot of fire mostly because of his playing style and philosophy. However, this could still be counted as a good season for the Red Devils if they go on to win the FA Cup. In the league, they came across a Manchester City side who are currently playing football from a different world. United’s biggest disappointment this season came when they lost to Sevilla in the Champions League round of 16.
Naingollan is considered as a complete midfielder because he has the ability to break up opposition play and launch the attack for his team as well. He is always energetic on the pitch and his perseverance makes the difference sometimes. He is a hard tackling midfielder as he is not shy about going for big challenges. He is equally good with his distribution skills and can pop in with a goal every now and then for his team.
Due to all these abilities he plays in the box to box role and could be a great fit in the current Manchester United squad. However, he is close to being 30 and it will be interesting to see how long can he carry on. He has previously been linked to other big clubs but the Belgian has stayed loyal to the Italian outfit.

If United can get him he will certainly make them stronger in the middle of the park. Pogba and Nainggolan can forge a formidable partnership and that will strengthen their hopes for the Premier League title. It will be interesting to see whether United can lure him as he was previously linked with them but he decided to stay put AS Roma.
