Gareth Bale, the 28-year old winger from Wales, is unhappy at the club and ready to move on next season. The ex-Tottenham Hotspur man moved to Real Madrid in the summer of 2013 for a then world-record fee of £85.3 million.
The English league known for its pace and physicality struggled to keep up with Bale in his time at Tottenham Hotspur when the Welshman went on to become the PFA Player’s Player of the Year in the 2012-13 season.
In his four seasons at the Real Madrid Bale has gone on to make around 175 appearances scoring over 80 goals and setting up over 60 assists. He has also won the Spanish league and three Champions League trophies with the Los Blancos.
However, his Real career has been set back several times with injuries and Bale has never been able to get a long string of games for the club, testing the patience of both fans and the Real management. Although he has on several occasions said he wants to stay at Real Madrid, it might no longer be in his hand, with his latest injury being the final straw to Perez’s patience.
Here is a look at the likely suitors for Gareth Bale:
Manchester United
If Bale were to move, of the many suitors, one is likely to be Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. The Red Devils were in the market for a winger and having Bale back in the league he thrived in, with Jose’s United, will propose a daunting prospect for the opposition.
Bale will complete the team consisting the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba and it would be dream come true for United fans to see a team of such raw pace and power, rain in goals at Old Trafford. All this of course will only happen given a move is made and Bale manages to stay fit to play for the Red Devils.
Tottenham Hotspur
What could be sweeter than a homecoming for their old hero. Mauricio Pochettino had previously stated that a return to Tottenham would always be open for Bale should he not find himself comfortable and happy at Real Madrid. Bale also had previously talked about his love for Tottenham and gone on to say “I hope the fans still love me even though I’ve moved on. I love Spurs fans; you never know, I could come back one day.”
If Bale were to return to Tottenham, it would mean Tottenham would by far have the most devastatingly dangerous attacking men up front with Christain Eriksen, Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Gareth Bale all lining up for the same team.
Chelsea
The least likely possible of the three destinations but Chelsea will also look to snap up the Welshman should he move. The Blues will be looking to correct their errors from the summer transfer window and would want to appease Conte, who has been complaining about his shortage of options up front, by bringing in a quality addition like Bale to the frontline.

Bale would form a part of a formidable front three alongside Hazard and Morata and it would be hard to stop the Blues romping home to several titles should the three frontmen gel together at Stamford Bridge.
