In a recent segment with the United Stand, journalist Ben Jacobs mentioned that Chelsea are among the clubs hoping to sign Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers. Jacobs said,
“Chelsea and Manchester United are the two main clubs to watch for Morgan Rogers at the moment, and there’s a chance he could communicate where he wants to go before the World Cup.
“A figure of £80m, maybe more if there’s a bidding war, is expected to be enough to sanction a sale.
“PSG may also be one to watch. Arsenal are a bit put off by the price tag.”
Rogers’ Impressive Form In English Football
Rogers has enjoyed another impressive campaign at the West Midlands club as he has put in a series of productive displays for them in the final third. The 23-year-old has found the back of the net 14 times and secured 12 assists in 55 matches for Aston Villa this season across various competitions.
The English sensation is currently one of the best playmakers in the Premier League. Hence, Chelsea would do well to win the race for his services in this upcoming transfer window.

Should Chelsea Snap Rogers Up This Summer?
Rogers is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the eye to play some decisive passes in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He can strike the ball with power from long range and can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top.
The English talent is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also fill in as a winger on either flank if asked to do so by his manager. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Chelsea.
We can expect Rogers to bring more firepower to the West London club’s frontline. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at Stamford Bridge next season.
At 23, Rogers has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for the Blues to consider later this year. Therefore, Chelsea would be wise to try everything they can to snap him up at the end of this campaign.
