Liverpool will face off against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday as they look to secure a win in the FA Cup. The Reds suffered a 2-1 loss away at Brighton and Hove Albion before the international break, so they would be keen on putting in a much-improved performance this weekend.
Arne Slot will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Hugo Ekitike will once again lead the charge for the Merseyside club up top.
4-2-3-1 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Manchester City
Defence
Giorgi Mamardashvili will feature in between the sticks for the Reds after shipping in two goals in his last outing. Ibrahima Konate will operate alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Jeremie Frimpong will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Milos Kerkez looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well before trying to offer some support to their teammates up top.
Andy Robertson will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will anchor the midfield for the Merseyside outfit as they look to dictate the tempo of the game at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Cody Gakpo, Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong will play just ahead of them as part of the Liverpool attack. All three of them need to combine well if the Reds are to come out on top at the Etihad this weekend.
Curtis Jones and Rio Ngumoha will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Hugo Ekitike will spearhead Liverpool‘s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a real menace in the final third.
Federico Chiesa will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages of the contest if the Reds are in need of a goal by then.
