Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Tuesday night as they look to secure all three points on the road in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League tie. Spurs suffered a poor 3-1 loss at the hands of Crystal Palace recently, so they would be desperate to get back to winning ways in midweek.
Igor Tudor will set his players up in a 3-4-2-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first XI for this game. Both Cristian Romero and Xavi Simons could play from the start of this clash.
3-4-2-1 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Atletico Madrid
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will operate in goal for the North London club after he shipped in three goals in his last outing for the London club. Tudor could opt for a back three of Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Kevin Danso for this game.
James Rowswell will provide cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield
Pape Matar Sarr and Joao Palhinha will operate as the holding midfielders as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
Archie Gray will hope to prove his worth on the left flank, while Pedro Porro looks to catch the eye as the right-sided wide player. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well before making some overlapping runs out on the flanks.
Mathys Tel and Xavi Simons will function as the attacking midfielders for Spurs inside the opposition half. Both of them will have to carry most of the creative burden for the North London club in the final third.
Conor Gallagher and Yves Bissouma will have to settle for a place on the bench as they await their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Dominic Solanke will lead the line for the London giants up top. He has to figure out a way to be a constant menace on the offensive end of the field.
Richarlison will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if Tottenham are in need of a goal by then.
