Liverpool Are Locked In A Three-Way Battle For This Newcastle United Ace: Good Fit For The Reds?

In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey mentioned that Liverpool are locked in a three-way battle for Newcastle United ace Lewis Hall. It is believed that the Reds are facing competition from Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign the English left-back this summer.

Hall’s Impressive Form In English Football

Hall has enjoyed a good run of form at the Tyneside club as he has put in a string of impressive displays for them on the left flank. The 21-year-old has registered one goal and secured two assists in 40 matches for Newcastle this season on all fronts.

The English talent is currently among the best young full-backs in the Premier League. Hence, it is no surprise that Liverpool are in the running to land him this off-season.

His current contract at St. James’ Park will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for the Reds to sign him on the cheap in the upcoming transfer window.

Will Hall Be A Good Fit For Liverpool?

Hall is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his side inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot.

The English sensation is an energetic runner with the ball and has got the vision to create some decent chances for his teammates from the left flank. Hall is primarily a left-back but can also serve as a box-to-box midfielder or as a left-sided wide player if needed. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the Merseyside club.

We can expect Hall to bring more quality and depth to Liverpool’s defence. He would even serve as an ideal successor to Andy Robertson at the Premier League club in the long run.

At 21, the future looks quite promising for Hall as long as he continues to improve with each season. He is good enough to compete with Milos Kerkez for a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club in the coming years. Hall would be a great fit for Liverpool‘s needs in the long run, so the Reds would be wise to move in for him later this year.
