Chelsea will face off against Aston Villa at Villa Park this Wednesday night as they look to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues suffered a tough 2-1 loss away at Arsenal recently, so they would be eager to bounce back by securing all three points in midweek.
Liam Rosenior will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first-team for this game. Alejandro Garnacho and Wesley Fofana could both play from the start of this clash.
4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup To Face Aston Villa
Defence
Robert Sanchez will play in between the sticks for the Blues after conceding two goals in the London derby last weekend. Wesley Fofana will operate alongside Trevoh Chalobah at the centre of the Chelsea backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.
Reece James will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Jorrel Hato looks to put in a solid performance on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Tosin Adarabioyo will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Moises Caicedo and Andrey Santos will anchor the midfield for the Blues as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Alejandro Garnacho, Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer will play just ahead of them as part of the Chelsea attack. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer enough chances for the Blues to win this contest.
Romeo Lavia will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Joao Pedro will lead the line for the West London club in the final third. He has to figure out a way to be a real menace up top.
Liam Delap and Marc Guiu will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if the Blues are in need of a goal by then.
