Delap To Lead The Line | 4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup Vs Wrexham

Chelsea will lock horns with Wrexham at Racecourse Ground this Saturday evening as they try to secure a win in the FA Cup. The Blues managed to earn a dominant 4-1 victory away at Aston Villa recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this cup game.

Liam Rosenior will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation once again and is expected to make a lot of changes to his starting XI for this clash. Liam Delap could get the nod to lead the line for Chelsea up top.

Defence

Robert Sanchez will operate in between the sticks for Chelsea after he got a rest versus Aston Villa. Tosin Adarabioyo will probably get a chance to impress alongside Benoit Badiashile at the centre of Rosenior’s defence as they hope to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

Reece James will try to put in a good performance as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to prove his value on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Trevoh Chalobah and Jorrel Hato will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo will operate along with Andrey Santos as the holding midfielders for the Blues as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.

The gifted trio of Alejandro Garnacho, Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer might play just ahead of them as part of Chelsea’s attack. All three of them need to link up with each other well if the Blues are to earn a convincing win in the FA Cup this weekend.

Rome Lavia will have to be content with a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to impress in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Liam Delap will lead the line for the Blues up top. He would be keen on getting his name on the scoresheet versus Wrexham this Saturday.

Joao Pedro will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if needed.
