Leeds United locked horns with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Whites made a solid start to the game but found themselves at a numerical disadvantage in the latter stages of the first half when Gabriel Gudmundsson was sent off by the referee.
Daniel Farke’s ten men fought tooth and nail in the second 45 minutes and managed to grind out a hard-fought 0-0 draw away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Leeds United player fared during the clash against the Eagles.
GK: Karl Darlow – 6.5/10
He made two good saves at the back and did well to secure the all-important clean sheet today.
CB: Joe Rodon – 7/10
Rodon made a lot of crucial clearances on the defensive end of the field.
CB: Jaka Bijol – 7.5/10
Bijol was a rock at the back and was a threat at the other end of the field.
CB: Pascal Struijk – 7.5/10
He gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half.

RW: James Justin – 6.5/10
He put his foot through the ball when needed, but offered very little going forward.
CM: Anton Stach – 7.5/10
Stach did his fair share of defending and was a positive influence in the final third.
CM: Ethan Ampadu – 7.5/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction throughout the game.
LW: Gabriel Gudmundsson – 5/10
Gudmundsson made a solid start to the game, but let his teammates down by getting sent off in the dying embers of the first half.
CAM: Brenden Aaronson – 6/10
He worked hard in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 6.5/10
He was a real handful for the opposition defenders but missed a penalty.
ST: Lukas Nmecha – 6/10
Nmecha made one promising run with the ball, but never looked like he would score.
Substitutes:
CM: Ilia Gruev – 6.5/10
He added some energy to Farke’s midfield.
CB: Jayden Bogle – 6.5/10
Bogle was solid on the defensive third of the pitch.
