In a recent report, journalist Graeme Bailey stated that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. It has been revealed that the Gunners are monitoring the development of the French talent, but will face competition from Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in pursuit of him this summer.
Bouaddi’s Impressive Rise In French Football
Bouaddi has enjoyed a decent run of form at the heart of Lille’s midfield in this campaign so far. The French midfield ace has participated in 36 matches for the French outfit this season, securing one assist across all fronts.
The 18-year-old is currently among the best young central midfielders in French football. Therefore, it is no surprise that the Gunners are showing interest in recruiting him later this year.
His current contract at the French club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for Arsenal to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Bouaddi is a good tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and can shoot the ball well from long range.
