In a recent post on X, journalist Mirko Di Natale mentioned that Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs hoping to land Juventus defender Lloyd Kelly. It has been claimed that Spurs would have to rival Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to land the English centre-back next summer.
Kelly’s Impressive Form In Serie A
The 27-year-old has been a rock at the back for the Turin outfit this season as he has been responsible for putting in a run of impressive displays for them in Serie A. Kelly has found the back of the net a couple of times and earned one assist in 31 matches for Juventus in this campaign so far across all competitions.
The English talent is currently among the best central defenders in Serie A football. Thus, it is only logical for Tottenham to try and lure him to North London at the end of this campaign.
His current contract at the Allianz Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029. Hence, Spurs would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about signing him this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur Are Among The Clubs Hoping To Land Kelly: Is He Worth The Fight?
Kelly is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot.
The English talent is proficient at playing his way out from the back. Standing at 1.89m, Kelly can use his strong frame to dominate the opposition attackers in the air. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League from his time at Bournemouth and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Tottenham.
Kelly would add more bite and steel to Spurs’ backline. He is more than capable of challenging for a regular starting role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming years.
At 27, Kelly has got his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a decent choice for the North London giants to consider at the end of this season. He might even help Tottenham get back to challenging for a top-four spot in the Premier League over the next few years. He would be well worth the fight, so Spurs would be wise to go all out to bring him back to England later this year.
